we fell in love.. then something unexpected happened...you exploded.
Zuko sat upon his twolegs fence with ease. Just minutes earlier the white Bengal had sat like a statue on a the nearby bird-house, only striking when a idiot bird came near. Idiotic but tasty. Zuko rather preferred his prey to be stupid; they were much easier to catch. The tom ran his tongue down his silver-white and night-black pelt. Foolishly though as his tongue still was bloody from a scrape that the bird had given him on it's way down his throat. Curses... Zuko slid down from the fence, seeing if he could reach the ground without moving his back paws from the fence. "Ouch!'' Nope. The kittypet winced, but his pain was soon forgotten ( as well as the red on his pelt ) as voices were heard from the other side of the fence. It was a mystery to him why a cat would come here... Zuko and his twoleg lived in the middle of nowhere. He hoped it wouldn't be another kittypet; they just didn't understand that this was his garden and they were to stay out. Fools.
we were reunited.. then you exploded again.

After seeing the things this young kittypet had seen, she ran away, never to look back. Her dull green eyes were still wide, her black and white fur still fluffed, though she was miles from where she saw him. The black and white tom that said he was Timestar. He wasn't, but she didn't know that. All she knew was that it was frightful for her young eyes that had already seen too much. She had ran between trees, fences, and houses, avoiding dogs, and rats, and kept on running. She would miss Jennifer, her elderly owner, but this was for the best. She didn't want to see anymore of those forest cats. They were interesting yes, but very frightening.
She had approached many fronds and bushes and instantly knew she was out of town and any big city. The bushes rustled as she raced through, only slowing that she had invaded someone's territory. "I'm s...so...sorry." Her young voice was still high and it was filled with fear and horror. "I didn't mean..." She couldn't say anything. She was out of breath, hungry, tired, scared, and clouds were starting to gather above her. The sky looks how I feel. Surrounded. Clouded. The wind ruffled her medium length fur bringing in heavier and darker clouds.

Zuko's head swiveled; his first thought was 'a kittypet; of course.' Mournful looking amber eyes narrowed, his pelt bristled. Now Zuko was usually an easy going cat, but he was very territorial. He had no desire for his owner to have to deal with the cats, and he was repulsed at the idea of her taking another feline in. The silver Bengal was an idiot though, and could see that the young female had made a mistake when she had came stumbling in.
"It's okay. It has been months since I have had a visitor." Zuko's tone was loose and easy going. His smile was genuine, and his fur had laid back. After speaking, he ran warm eyes over the new cat. She was black and white, cute if a bit chubby. Not everyone could be in fantastical physical shape like him. She looked nervous though and saddened, he could only guess why.

The black and white chubby cat relaxed. Even though the cat looked intimidating, especially with his pelt brisling, he seemed kind and sweet. The young she-cat watched him as he looked at her. She did the same in return. He was lean. Black and white striped with some gray that sprayed across his back, head, and tail. Fifi quit staring at the tom. Instead she shifted her gaze to look at his home, just to give herself something else to look at. When she had took in the environment, she turned back to him, and mewed something. "Nice place. I'm Fifi." She hoped she wasn't being too casual, but friendly.

Zuko smiled warmly again, and flicked his tail towards his nest. "Indeed it is , Fifi. My name is Zuko." He said putting dramatic emphasis on his name. He grinned wryly. There was a question that he had to ask, wither if would be hard to deal with or not. " Where is your nest , Fifi?" The silver bengal had sobered by this time, and his eyes resumed their rather mournful gaze. A bird chirped near them, and out of the corner of his eyes he saw movement in his home. Zuko remained focused on the black and white female.

Fifi started towards the lean tom. Her steps very cautious and wise. Could this be like the tom she met that had been friendly but turned out to want to hurt them all? Even her friends from the forest? Her head never bent down to look at the ground so she could watch his every move. "Hello Zuko." She put the same kind of emphasis on his name like he had done when he told her. She continued to move cautiously until he asked his question. Fif stopped. She lowered her eyes and bent her head in ashamement. How was she supposed to tell him that she ran away from home because of that cat she met that looked so frightening? Or should she tell him that she wandered off? Would he take her back home? Fifi couldn't bare to go back home. She missed Jennifer, yes, but would it be worth it to see Jennifer again if it cost her her life? Would that cat that called himself Timebringer be there waiting for her? It took a long time for Fifi to look back up at Zuko. And when she did, she had this look in her eyes that said it all. 'I'm terrified. I ran away. Another cat. Don't send me back.' Her eyes were horrifying to look at, but she held her gaze. He could look away if he wanted to.
