• Physical description (if no picture is available): El is small, even for her age. Her fluffy black fur covers lean muscles, which would be strong and useful if she was but a bit larger. Her markings draw considerable attention from those who haven't seen them before. Just above her big blue eyes, in the middle of her forehead, there is a spot that resembles a burning star. A ring of blue circles her neck, turning into a stripe at the base of her chest and running along her belly. At four different places, the ring and stripe branch off into lines that run down her legs to her paws. Along her back and sides, three fiery stripes extend backwards from her head. At the end of her rump, these three lines meet and turn into a deep purple with fans out along her tail.

• Personality: El is shy when approaching other cats, but quickly becomes talkative if others approach her. Playful, adventurous, and a tom-boy at heart, she has befriended many of the tom kits in the colony. She doesn't understand why the colony is so unbalanced when it comes to genders, and has yet to learn that toms don't get to stay. She will stand up for her friends if need be, but is a strong believer of running away. From time to time, she has inexplicable mood swings, and can become extremely anti-social and quiet for a while.
  
  
• History: El was born to a rogue, the runt in a litter of two. Her mother was a strong tabby cat, who wandered the allies of towns and hunted in mouse-filled barns. Her sister was a pretty calico, very nice but a bit too soft for the life she was born into. On a moonless night when the kits were about a moon old, El disappeared. She had been on a hay loft with her mother and sister, licking her paws after a decent sized meal, when she simply vanished into the shadows. A couple of days later, she was found half a mile away. Her entire body was shaking from fear and from the cold, and her black fur was covered with strange markings. No one knew how she had gotten them, and the kit's memories of the time period faded quickly. Having heard of the colonies before, El's mother decided to take her there in the hope that she would be safer. Before journeying to the colonies, her sister was left with some humans in a nice house on the outskirts of a nearby town. For the next week they were on the move, slowly making their way towards the groups of cats that lived together. On their eighth day, a group of cats stopped them. El's mother explained the situation, and the Sprinters decided to take her in. Her mother disappeared, never to be seen again. Upon being accepted into the Tornado colony, El's name was changed to Elemental.
  
  For the next half moon, El kept to the shadows. She didn't speak to anyone, and only came out of hiding to eat. Eventually, her longing for a mother began to fade, and she became a bit more social.
