- Physical description (if no picture is available):
- Status: Skinnier than she should be, but still in good shape
- Rank (if in a colony): Subordinate
- Personality: Song is a rather quiet cat who doesn't really like to get involved with others all that much. She's shy, and doesn't like to make friends, as she knows they will die, either in battle or old age or sickness. Song appears cold-hearted and aloof, but she prefers to distance herself from others to save her the pain of getting hurt by a comment, or watching them die. She's a loner, and prefers to hunt and patrol alone, but knows the dangers of such a thing, for if she were hurt, others would have to find her if she couldn't return. When Song is given orders, even one's she doesn't like, she will see them through most of the time, other times she'll lie and say she's not up to it if she has to work with others. If you interrupt Song during a thinking session of hers, she will be angry, snapping at you if your not careful. Snowdance has a sharp tongue when she does speak, and isn't afraid to if the clan is about to do something insanely stupid. She will voice her concerns, but gets scared if everyone starts to jeer and stare at her. She is very conscious about doing such a thing, and would prefer to do it in private. Song is timid around others, so gets shy and scared. She's a little jumpy around toms too, because of her bad history with them.
- History: Song was born to Blizzard, a grey and white she-cat with green eyes, and Snowstorm, a tuxedo tom with yellow eyes. She was born with two sisters and a brother, but her youngest sister, Whittle, was a still borne. Her mother mourned for her lost kit, but she was old, and knew the risks of having a litter late in life.
Song and Dew would always play together, fighting or exploring and getting into trouble, whereas Chiller would sit and be happily groomed by their mother. The kits always found their sister boring and snobby, but they loved her all the same. Then it came for their apprentice ceremony. They were as excited as anything to be able to finally leave the nursery and begin their lives as warriors. Chiller, however, wished to stay in the nursery, saying how she really wanted to be a mommy, not a warrior. Song was taught the ropes by a cat called Hazel. Hazel was a laid back lady, and she would just watch Song while she did her stuff. She was alright at fighting, kind of bad at hunting, and even worse at patrolling, as she was always distracted. Then, her mother, Chiller and Dew all grew very sick. Song would volunteer to go and collect herbs for the medicine cat, but then, Chiller died. Song was devastated at her sister's death, despite not getting on very well. Soon after, her mother died, and she grew distant from everyone. She blamed Dew for infecting them, and the medicine cat for not fixing them, and her clan for not caring. Her brother grew better, but now, she didn't want to spend time with him anymore. Song and Dew grew apart when he left, and Song was less enthusiastic in training. Song grew distant from everyone day by day, even her mentor, who, when they started training, she was very close to. Now, she answered back to her mentor, and drove her to the edge, so much, Hazel asked to no longer teach the petulant little cat. So, she was given another mentor, Blaze. Blaze took nothing from the apprentice. She trained her, and trained her strictly and hard. She gave her no breaks, she would shout at her, push her into the mud if she did something wrong, but boy, did it kick her into action. Song , fed up of the cat, worked harder and harder, but this brutal mentoring made her bitter towards him, and she grew to hate Blaze. Blaze went to the matriach, and said she was ready. Groomed and no longer under the control of Blaze, Song's fur shone as she was made into a subordinate, finally. She was fifteen moons. Song would sleep alone in the den, putting her nest far away from the others.
