Swimmer. North Territory Controller.
- Personality:
Overall, Aztec is a friendly male. If you're a female, that is. For Aztec, females are just easier to be around, easier to tolerate. Males? They are a different story all together. Aztec can barely tolerate the presence of males, but that could just be his nature. From the very beginning, he's had an aversion to males. He's prone to rudeness when faced with the company of most other male cats. Not many have been able to get past his dislike of same sex felines, but that doesn't mean it isn't possible. As the decedent of two Swimmer cats, Aztec enjoys the water immensely, and would -even in the coldest of winters- gladly take a dip in any pool of water, just for the simple joy of being in the water. He's not an idiot, however, and knows to keep dry during the colder months. Aztec is an intelligent cat, though he knows better than to attempt to flaunt what knowledge he has. He's sure there are far brighter creatures out there somewhere. Aztec is the kind of cat to admit it when he's wrong, rather than arguing over something he's been proved wrong in. However, if he knows he's right about something, he will try to prove it. He's also a very possessive cat, figuring what's his is his, and he shouldn't have to share. From territory to food, and even occasionally to other felines that have become his friend. He cares little about The Cult, maintaining a sort of 'you leave me alone, and I'll leave you alone' mindset. He figures as long as they are not physically hurting anybody, they can do as they please.
- History:
Aztec was born into the Swimmer colony. His mother, a Subordinate, had mated with the north resident male which led to the birth of himself and Aztecs brother, Atlas. Aztec and his brother never became close, Aztecs dislike of other males reaching even his own blood. His life was fairly normal. He lived among the swimmer cats up until he was seven months old. After that, he lived on his own, for the most part. Only occasionally meeting other cats in unclaimed lands. He knew better than to wander into claimed lands. He was still far too young, and untrained to try and claim his own territory. For nearly two years, he spent his free time training himself, occasionally taking on the occasional stray he came across, just to test himself. Battles were won, battles were lost, scars were gained, and scars were given. The training held a purpose. His intentions were to overthrow his father and take control of the north territory of the swimmers land. Why? He had no real reason other than he liked the territory[he'd sneaked into it many times just to see if he could do so undetected], and there was an overwhelming need to remove the tom who created him from a position of power.
- Relationships:
He knows nothing of the whereabouts of his brother and assumes his mother is still alive somewhere. After leaving the colony he lost track of her. As for his father; he cares not what happened to him.
- Other tidbits:
None yet. I'm sure I'll think of something more I want to add to him later on. I always think of more to add once I "finish" creating a character.
- Code symbol from the rules:
&+
- Role-play Example:
It hadn't taken him long to locate the old Tom cat, a little over an hour at best. And now, Aztec stood watching as the Tom limped off as fast as he could manage. He dared not remove his gaze from the older tom-cat until he was well out of sight, though he had no reason to believe the defeated tom would come back for another beating. The older tom had mistaken Aztecs reason for being there. It'd been clear on the toms face when Aztec challenged him for his land. His father hadn't made it an easy win, however. Which made Aztec even more pleased with his victory. He'd earned this land. It was his, and wasn't just a piece of land he'd come across and claimed. He'd won it, defeated his father for it. Sure, he could have taken any of the other unclaimed land but that would have been far too easy.
A small smirk crossed the orange tom's lips as he sat himself down and allowed his water colored eyes to scan his new land. Satisfied, he lifted himself back to his feet, taking one more quick glance around to make sure his father hadn't hidden himself in the trees not far from where their battle had taken place. A nod to himself sent him on his way, off to thoroughly explore the land he'd removed from his father.
