A New Beginning with Twisterstar

Twisterstar chuckled to herself as the two she-cats talked. Amusing. Anyway, "Of course not, Bluetalon. I, myself, have made several mouse-brained mistakes as well, yet here I am, leader." She turned her golden, shadow-black whisped head to her new deputy, almost. "I know how hard this is, and I trust you will lead this clan farther into the future than me. I also know you're personality, but no other warrior has the strength it will take to be deputy, specially since we have very few cats who are able to fight and have a high chance of survival. Are you willing to lead a patrol this evening?" Twisterstar looked around her, to see the cats she had called out starting to gather for the hunting party.

Bluetalon nobbed in understanding, feeling a huge wave of relief swooch into her head. All cats made mistakes every now and then, even leaders themselves! Bluetalon looked all around at her clan. She had a great clan, the greatest clan she had ever known in her entire lifetime! No other clan was like Sunsetclan, so brave, so true, so amazing! Bluetalons tail twitched slowly side to side in happiness, and she mewed "Thank you Twisterstar and Whisperleaf, thank you for understanding! I'll be in my den if you need me". And with that she trotted back to her den feeling absouluty happy.

"You're welcome," Whisperleaf purred. Then, just as her fellow new medicine cat began to pad away, she called after her, "And, Bluetalon? Good luck as Sunsetclan's new medicine cat, okay?" Then the to-be deputy turned her head towards Twisterstar. She started mewing to her reassuringly, and it comforted Whisperleaf a lot.

"Are you willing to lead a hunting patrol this evening?" Twisterstar meowed.

Whisperleaf nodded, her masked head bobbing up and down. "Yes, I will." She then turned to the group of cats gathering for a patrol. She then flicked her head back at her leader and mewed, "I understand, Twisterstar." Her eyes gleamed. "I'll try my best!" Then she padded off to the hunting party, feeling refreshed and renewed after her talk with Bluetalon and her leader.
