The black she cat stalked along the edge of the territory watching for signs of any intruders that might have dared to enter Mountain Clan territory. None today;just the smell of Mountain Clan cats and the faint smell of the clan next to them. Twithcing auds quickly heard the faint squeak of a mouse and she quickly pounced landing on it and killing it instantly.
She had earned her meal today; black body had been tending to the clan and picking herbs. One would think it would be an easy thing to do but it was not. Some herbs were high and difficult to get.
Ebonyleaf debated with herself to eat it or not and decided to just eat it.She wasn't on hunting patrol or anything of the such and she was ravonous. Prey slipped easily past her sharp fangs and she swallowed it when she heard a noise in the bush...

Rainpool walked out of the bush where she had been hiding. "Did you have to take that mouse?" she asked startled Ebonyleaf crossly. "I was just about to make the kill."

Harks pricked up as pawsteps came next to her.Rainpools scent filled her nares while her lyrics filled her auds.Pools narrowed crossly,what had this warrior done today?Not as much as her for sure.Besides she rarely got out much anymore,things were quite busy sometimes.Tounge ran over her overly sharp fangs and soft words came out."I'm sure you can find another."

With that, the prickly warrior stalked away from the medicine cat.

Feline snarled as soon as the ignorant warrior left.Look what she got for trying to do something for herself;a cheeky Not likely with you around.There was an abundance of prey.Hiss escaped her;this young soul had yet to learn respect.She stalked grumpily around before starting to head back toward camp.
