``don't try to make me a hero
[/s][/blockquote][/blockquote] Shade narrowed his eyes but said nothing as the kittypet and the minion of Timestar's headed towards the fence. The rogue ruffled his fur as a chill wind promising of leaf-bare ruffled his black and white pelt, amber eyes closing, reopening as the winds passed. The tom stood, watching the two thoughtfully, as if he completely agreed with their plans. However, he saw that the purpleish warrior dodged his invitation into the forest; Shade realized that he must know that the rogue intended to question him heavily, and so used the excuse of helping the kittypet to escape going anywhere with Shade alone. Interesting.
"Yes, you help our little friend along...I suppose I will you see you after nightfall."
The rogue narrowed his eyes thoughtfully.
"Wouldn't want to see anything happen to you...I best be heading back, to make sure you get to camp alright."
With that, the black and white tom slunk off into the trees, following the scent trail of the elder through the trees and over hills intently. His ears were directed backwards at all times for signs of anyone following, but for the most part he focused on finding the heart of his brother's little establishment. Shade's plans would be kickstarting any moment now, and he needed to find out as much about his brother as possible, which included where he lived.
Padding quickly, dark amber eyes glaring straight ahead, he kept on the scent trail, getting a whiff of other scents similiar to the elder's, and with a grin like a jack-o-lantern, Shade began sprinting.

The black and white young she-cat leaped up onto the fence. She turned around carefully to watch the tom, a question propelling itself out of her mouth.
"I'm sorry, but I never caught your name? Was that really Timestar? Please tell me. He didn't smell like you, he smelt of trash and two-leg place."
Fifi's dull green eyes grew curious. She was afraid of the answer she was about to get, but that didn't stop more questions flooding through her mind. She held them on her tongue long enough for the older tom to answer the first few that had slipped out of her jaw. She licked her back and her paw which she swiped over her muzzle.

"Ah, well," Mothdark checked behind himself to make sure that the rouge was gone, "I'm afraid you're right. That wasn't Timestar at all. I don't know why that rouge was attempting to fool you, but it seems that he's given up now."
With a little bit of trouble, Mothdark leaped onto the fence and wobbled only a little on the landing. The elder looked towards the forest one more time, confirming that the impostor was truly gone, "Yes, I did neglect to tell you my name. I am Mothdark of the Twilight Clan. Pleased to make you acquaintance."
The purple-blue tom blinked slowly and gave a small grin, "I thank you, as well. If you had not given me the chance to accompany you and send that impostor on his way, I might have had to face that beast... and I fear no good would have come to me if that had happened. You seem to be quite interested in the forest, no? I have collected many stories and anecdotes in my life there. Perhaps I could tell you some in gratitude for what you have done for me? Ask any question you'd like, and I'll answer it to the best of my abilities, young one."

Fifi's dull green eyes gazed with curiousity and pleasure at Mothdark.
"Thank you," She meowed. "I'm Fifi."
Fifi would've like to know why the rogue would want to be Timestar, but she wanted to know other things.
"Who's Timestar? Did he used to live with Two-legs, like me? Are there any cats as young as me?"
Fifi stopped her tumble of questions to Mothdark. He must be an older cat.
"TwilightClan, is that a clan? What's a Clan?"
Fifi's leaped out of her black and white pelt. The forest sounded so exciting, but she would never betray her two-leg. Jennifer treated her nicely. But her life was so boring here. It would definately be spiced up there in TwilightClan.

(( Ackk! I feel like I haven't been here forever... I feel like a bad kitty...))
"You certainly are a curious young thing, Fifi," Mothdark chuckled, "Well, let' see. First off, a clan is a group of cats who live and hunt together-- to live in the forest alone is a hardship, indeed. So warriors and cats of medicine and kits all live together to better their lives. Yes, there are certainly cats as young as you-- you look to be about of apprenticing age. "
"Timestar is the leader of the clan," Mothdark paused, "which might be part of the reason that the rogue was pretending to be him. But he is a good and wise ruler, I think. Balanced and calm. I believe he was born in the woods, as was I when they first started to grow back from the Two-Leg war that was so many moons ago. As for those who are owned by a two-leg, they have been known to join a clan, but the only instance that I know of where a kittypet became blessed by Starclan was in an old story."
The wind again blew fiercely and Mothdark hunkered down awkwardly, still trying to keep his balance on the fence.
"My, its a nice night," The old tom joked, "Leaf-bare is upon us."

(Is it okay if I make a posty here with my kitty?)
Spottedtail To admit defeat is to give up the game and if you give up the game you die. The blue hued she-cat sat motionless, upon the thin fence, whatching the going ons with a mild interest.Three cat's were seen in her sight, one clearly a kitty-pet,the others cat's were clan cat's perhaps.Ah,yes, one of Mothdark and the other..he had a familiar scent about him but not one of her clan.
The Siberian mix had to bite her tongue to keep from hissing as the black and white tom introduced himself as Timestar. How dare that ignorant soul pretend to be a leader of a clan he was not,how dare he think that any one would believe him.The housecat did, though she was smart enough to suspect lying.Mothdark looked like he believed 'Timestar' but she knew he was faking.
Spottedtail knew that she was at least partially invisible in the shadows;she not acknowledged yet.She would announce her presence soon;she couldn't stay hidden forever.
Her chance came as soon as the rouge went away and the other two were one fence. Her pelt bristled in the cold air as she softly said
"Hello Mothdark."

The black and white she-cat looked over her shoulder, glancing down at the cat who had spoken. She was a blue hued she-cat and, like Mothdark, smelt of forest. "Mothdark, who's that?" Fifi looked back over the fence. How many more forests cats would come to her two-leg territory? Would they want her food, like that rogue? She hoped not. This cat seemed to know Mothdark, so she might be from his clan. She looked back over at Mothdark. "You know what maybe I should get going, any more forest cats come and soon I'll smell like them." Fifi went to leap down on the inside of the fence, but curiousity held her back. She tried to even it back with pondering where to land when she jumped. Maybe they'd start a conversation while she pondered and then she would stay a little longer; it's not like her owner can't see her. Oh no, her owner can see her, but her owner would probably just think it was some other cats from the neighborhood, Fifi had nothing to fear.

The elder straightened out as his clansmate called her greeting.
"Ah, young Spottedtail, have you been there long?" Mothdark shifted his glance to the warrior who had just come out of the shadows, "I didn't sense you at all. Well, I hope that rouge couldn't smell you as well. Perhaps you saw him, the wretched two-tailed impostor. Something is wrong when cats like that wander about spouting lies."
"Ah, yes," Mothdark adressed Fifi again, "This is Spottedtail, a warrior of the Twilightclan, and this, Spottedtail, is Fifi, the young she-cat who resides in this nest."
But Mothdark's casual demeanor was not enough to calm the kittypet, who wondered aloud if she should leave. Mothdark, even though he was a bit disappointed that this conversation should end, didn't feel as if he could tell the young cat to stay.
"If you have need to return to your nest, you should certainly do so," The purple-blue elder conceded, "But Two-legs do not smell as we do, and they are ignorant, and most do not think of us interacting as bad at all. And besides... it's still very early in the night."
Mothdark could not bring himself to say that he thought Fifi was lonely.

``don't try to make me a hero
[/s][/blockquote][/blockquote] Well this was getting him nowhere. Shade was sure he was nearing the camp, since the woods had blended into a foggy, marsh-like pine forest, with spruces and other trees with needles rising as high as the sunset. The black and white tom paused, mouth open, trying to relocate the scent trail that should lead him straight to the camp. Nosing along the ground, amber eyes focused on the needles as if they might offer clues, the rogue finally picked up scent of TwilightClan and followed it without paying much mind to where he was headed.
After several minutes of his brisk trotting across the forest floor, he came within a few fox-lengths of the kittypet's nest, and fence... Ack! He had followed a new trail back to where he had come from. Shade snorted in irritation at his carelessness but observed the blueish female up on the fence. She must have disrupted his scenting. He filed away her appearance, to seek for revenge later.
From the looks on their faces, they knew something was up, and his ears, though pinpointed, could only make out so much of their conversation. Hm, now what? A plan was sure to appear at some point. Looking back to a mud puddle hidden amongst the leaves, Shade padded over quietly and rolled himself around in it thoroughly, the stone-like cold seeping into his limbs, though the loner bit his lip a little and endured. Standing, he looked himself over before rubbing all his paws and face into the mud too, disguising his appearance and scent. Looking around, ignoring the reek of mud and leaf rot that was now clinging to him, the tom hurried to a berry bush and plucked off some bright red berries, squeezing the blood red juices with his teeth over his body, making short, blood red streaks here and there. He wiped the excess juice on his paw across his eyes thoroughly, and blinked his eyes shut. By now, Shade might look like a bedraggled, filthy, beaten-up rat of a cat from the dump or something.
The rogue kept one eye just barely open so he could see where he was going, making himself trip and stumble alot, tail bent at an akward angle. He favored one paw, holding himself from treading on it, as he once again approached the cats. Though, now, in costume.
"An-n-nyone? An-n-n-yon-ne here? Oh, help me p-please....h-h-he g-got me..."
Shade tripped over a tree root and bumped his nose into a prickly bush, wincing, the berry juices trickling in thick streams off his face and back.

Spottedtail Think you can fool me that easily;well I'll play along... She smiled fondly,a bit sadly though;her smile was always a bit sad.Thats what happens when you make a mistake, especially the kind she did.To take away a life like that,to let that happen....She tried to ignore it,but the sadness still came up at unexpected moments, moments like this.
She flicked her harks forward to catch the elders words and she frowned, the emotion that occupied her facade so often.
"I've been here for a bit, yes,I did see that rouge,a bit odd of him to take that name though, stupid really. We are of TwilightClan,we do know what are leader looks like."
As Mothdark introduced her to the kitty-pet and the kitty-pet to her she meowed a hello, nodding softly at her name.
"Leaving so soon?Well perhaps it would be good, there are some rouges around."
In fact she scented another one right now,but it was barely a cat smell, perhaps the cat was far away, but no,it appeared that the cat was right there, suddenly speaking, stuttering sentences. She sniffed the rough, but it wasn't the metallic scent of blood she scented only the sickly sweet scent of...berries?She would play along for now,she wanted to see what was going on.
"It's okay,your fine now,who got you?"
Her tone was calm, and sincere;truly wanting to now the answers.

Fifi turned around. Maybe she shouldn't leave now. Fifi nodded her hello to Spottedtail. Everything was getting interesting, yet as if nothing more could happen in one day, another new cat arrives. So many faces adn cats in this area, it's amazing Fifi looked down at the new comer and jumped off the fence, sniffing him for any wounds. She paused when she smelt berries. What a stupid cat. You think I don't know what blood smells like? But yet when she heard Spottedtail mew, '"It's okay, your fine now, who got you?"' Fif looked at her startled. Why did she say that? Had the berry juice actually tricked her? Well, I guess I'll just have to say so. Fifi took a breath, turned toward the new tom, and mewed, "You know that's n..."

Mothdark could feel his fur prickle as the young kittypet and his clansmate crept nearer to the 'wounded' cat. He wouldn't dare go near that cat. The red liquid that poured down his forehead and face may have looked like the color of blood, but even from his vantage point on the fence, Mothdark could see that it ran too thinly to be blood--and even if his eyes deceived him, it would be clear from the smell of it, which at least Spottedtail would know, if not Fifi as well.
But little Fifi chose to voice this, saying, "You know that's n..."
"Come now, young ones, it makes little sense to crowd around him when the cat who attacked him might be after him still," Mothdark muttered urgently, cutting the kittypet off, "We must convey him to a place in the forest where he can lay down and rest. From there, Spottedtail can go get our medicine cat. Fifi, you should remain at your nest. It is dangerous, and you promised to run back to your nest at the first sign of danger, yes?"
The elder jumped down from the fence and stared down at the bedraggled cat, "Do not worry, young warrior, we will take care of you."

Fifi choked on her last few words, 'Not blood!' She looked at Mothdark who had cut her off in the nick of time from what she could see in his eyes. She looked at her paws, disappointed at the promise she made, but let herself mutter a small, "Yes," to Mothdark. The young she-cat began to make her way back to the fence that surrounded her nest. Upset about missing all the action, she began to slow her pace down, only leaping at the very last minute. She had decided to, instead of going inside of her nest, staying outside, maybe hidden in a bush, or plant Jennifer had planted when she was younger. When she reached the fence, she picked the pace up, as if trotting straight into the cat door, that was in the front door. She went inside her nest, glancing a few things between the areas where she walked, but padded straight out the back cat door. She stayed hidden among the bushes she had found along the fence. Not knowing anything about sensing and hidding, she crept a little too close. The wind blew a gentle breeze, that ruffled her fur backwards, carrying her scent with it.

[/s][/blockquote][/blockquote] He noticed right away that the others didn't seem to be falling for his plan. They had intrigued, concerned looks on their faces, and even spoke similiar words, but the rogue snorted internally in frustration nonetheless. He watched the three felines before him, still feigning disability and injury, shaking from the cold mud he had rolled in.
"He-he, t-that terrible T-Timestar, he c-c-c-ursed me with b-broken limbs! I hope d-death...to..his...Clan..."
Shade hacked out another possum quote before reeling his tail and stumbling towards a bush, paws heavy, one foreleg still favored. This time, the prickers on the bush drew real blood on his back, mixing with the berry juice and creating a rather foul, but gory appearance to the veangeful rogue. Amber eyes lolled from one side to another in apparent agony, as Shade listened intently for signs of whether to keep up the show, or flee while he could.

Spottedtail
Am I alone in my opinions? Are there others who stand with me?
Indigo she-cat nodded her approval of Fifi going back;this could get ugly here. The gentle breeze blew under her nose but she didn't acknowledge the kitty-pet,nor show any signs of knowing that Fifi had disobeyed.
Anger and worry showed in the she-cats orbs as the wounded feline spoke.Anger at Timestar perhaps? She jumped down from her spot, landing softly on the ground. Her heart shaped face showed concern as she walked quickly, but carefully over to the rouge.
She sat behind him, figuring that the poor soul couldn't move any much. She was falling for his act.The thorns drew blood on her, just a bit though.Spottedtail paid no attention to it.Real true worry showed in her eyes as well as concern.
She-cat nudged the rouge forward a little,so he wouldn't get any more wounded and murmmered softly "Everythings okay,Timestars not here now."A bit of anger rested on the word Timestar as if she was mad at him.Was she?Spottedtail was hard to fool but she was compassionate and wanted other cats to like her.Feline began to gentely licking the cat,as a mother would to a kit.
After what seemed months of this, she slowed her licking, almost stopping on his back. Her eyes were full of worry and concern, all the anger gone out of it.Then she attacked. Her fangs went to the rouges neck, faster than any normal cat should be able to do. She gripped him tight,or rather tried to.She murmmered again, while gripping the back of his neck, anger and malice in her tone.
"What is your name."

Fifi looked at what she had saw. She smelt actual blood coming from the tom and a strange reaction she didn't understand. Was it safe to come out? Fif started to creep out from behind the bush where she was hiding. She wanted to be firm, but something told her not to be. She wanted to ask why Spottedtail had done such a terrible think to a feline. Fifi wanted to go help the tom, who was now not faking being injured. She was confused, angry, and felt alone once again. The fighting made her think of her mother and litternates. The way they mysteriously died, that she couldn't take it any longer and turned and fled back behind the bush. The small kit watch confusingly at Spottedtail as she malicely mewed, 'What is your name?'[/i] What is your name?[/i] She didn't understand.

[/s][/blockquote][/blockquote] The black and white tom noticed the indigo female approach, soothing his wounds, both real and fake, and he responded by acting nervous and wary, but too weak to fight back, supposedly. He winced in the right spots, all the while wary for any signs of a suprise attack. The rogue noticed none until the seemingly empathetic she-cat suddenly held him down, gripping his scruff with an iron hold and hissing words in his ears. This was not as planned.
Thinking fast, Shade remembered his gritting training from when he was younger, trying to be as good as Timestar in everything, and he felt the familiar, satisfying power that he always got when he channeled his hate into energy. Tearing from the she-cat to one side, he did such so fast that he tore his own fur and skin, but not too bad. Amber eyes were crazed and wide as he laughed emptily, staring at the others.
"My name? My name? I am the voice of all who have suffered, the one who lead the true souls of the forests home, the one who will avenge all who pushed us aside, whom forced us to wither in the shade..."
Tone of voice was mocking, enraged, spitting, spite and hate all mixed into low, ominous sound emits. With a final glare, the rogue looked to the north, where dark clouds could be seen not too far off.
"Brace yourselves, for the horizons have become ominous. This is a warning."
The words were more blunt and honest, as the mud covered, filthy brother of Timestar slunk away into the forest, alert to signs of a chase, while rethinking his plan all the way through.
