SOUTH- the silent woods; - 1 ViewingA quiet patch of wildnerness can be found here, particularly dark and close to some of the Dragon Molar Mountains. Evergreens dominate the forest and owls are often heard at night. EAST- dead crow pond;Named for an eerie bit of ice containing a crow discovered floating in its waters long ago, the pond is fed by the freezing water of Ice-needle creek. WEST- sharp-wood heights;The rocky ground begins to climb steeply, the resident pine forests becoming increasingly dense and dark. Days seem shorter and nights seem longer because of how little sunlight can penetrate the barrier of needles.
