- Name: Adrielle [Adri]
- Gender: Female
- Species: Cat
- Age: Seventeen moons
- Closest Breed: American shorthair
- Picture URL: Click * Only a very general picture though, more detail will be listed in physical description
- Physical Description: A slim and steady yet still graceful build belongs to Adrielle. She is a quick mover with a fair amount of strength hidden behind her flowing steps, and is particularly skilled in the areas of stealth and tracking. Unlike many who rely on scent to show them the way, this she-cat requires her light golden orbs to transmit needed information. Her sense of sight, therefore, is one of her strong suits though that of smell is a definite weakness.
It is a rare day when one finds Adrielle visibly under or over fed. Her gift in the art of tracking allows the discovery prey even during the cold times, and when it is warm she is active enough to work off any extra weight. This keeps her at the beautiful compromise between the two that she views as just being most logical. After all, both being skinny and plump can affect movement.
Cloaking her body is a short pelt with the base color of pure white. While not as long as some, Adrielle's coat is thick and warm during the winter with the natural gleam of a healthy cat during the warm seasons. She holds a bit of pride in her pelt's pure color and is careful to keep it well groomed. However, mixed throughout all the white fur are dark, forest green strands. The only place where this shade appears in a particularly concentrated area is on her front right paw where the green has grown in the shape of a star.
The last physical trait to mention are Adrielle's eyes. Like those of most cats, her orbs are almond shaped, though not so much as to give off a hostile air. They are a soft, warm gold in color, communicating a sense of compassion. While this is generally true, one should never judge on appearances for this is one she-cat with a strong backbone.
- Status: Prowler
- Rank: Subordinate
- Personality: 'The cat with a tongue of tamed fire' would do this she-cat justice. Were she to suddenly become horrible at managing what she does and does not say, Adrielle would be one of the must cruelly argumentative cats to exist. However, she learned early on that a certain dash of wisdom was needed to survive and that has served her well. Despite being strongly opinionated, she knows when to pick a fight or let things be, as well as how to present herself in a calm, knowledgeable way. Still, everyone slips sometimes and it remains possible for her to be affected in such a way that she will snap back mercilessly.
It is rare for her to claim allegiance to a specific cat, siding instead with a cause or idea. She has come to see cats as being too unpredictable and untrustworthy and doubts if she will ever find one who can change her view. However, this does not remove the importance of having her on your side in a fight because as long as she sees you as being in the right she will battle until success or failure arrives. On that note, because of her natural grace, Adrielle is a fair fighter. Strange then that she uses this skill sparingly. It is not that she's a pacifist, simply that shedding another felines blood does not at all thrill her. At any time possible she would rather battle it out with words.
After all that it may be hard to imagine Adrielle as a quiet cat, though that she is as well. Feeling as if unable to truly trust anyone, she has no friends and is often found alone. To her though, this is just fine. Without the distractions of other cats she is allowed to think about and question things that others may find strange. One of her favorite things to do is wander the territories, seeing what all there is that she hasn't seen before. She is also very fond of the night and sometimes takes time to go out in the dark and stare at the stars. Despite how happy she normally seems though, a part deep inside of her longs for someone to talk to and share her passions with. The only question is when that will surface.
In memory of her mother, she has retained the mark of compassion. It is not particularly evident and most often when it comes into play it would not have been her first choice. Yet she knows all too well what happens to those who care little for others and never wants to see herself that way, so will sometimes force herself to do those things she does not want to do. Every once in a while though, something will truly touch her and beg for her assistance. It could be a circumstance, a story, or even something that yet remains unknown. These times are rare but are evidence that cares about others a little more than she lets on.
- History: It was a beautiful day near the beginning of summer with the sun shining brightly down and the trickling of a brook echoing through the air. That was the day Adrielle was born. Her mother was young but well prepared and had no trouble bringing her and her brother, Cedric, into the world. To the young queen, the kits' colors were fascinating. There was her daughter with a green speckled white pelt, and her son with his blue speckled black one. Almost identical, obviously siblings, yet oh so different as well.
The two kits grew up happily isolated from the rest of the world with their mother in a delightful forest hideaway. However, they never got along very well. At that time, Adrielle was much like her mother, Selena; a kind, compassionate soul with a strong and sure sense of right and wrong. Her brother on the other hand clearly took after their father who abandoned Selena before their birth. He was the quiet, brooding type, often questioning why things were considered bad. The two fought often. Still, their mother was sure that as they grew older even Cedric would learn to love others. Oh how wrong she was.
This time, it was a chilling winter day, the perfect setting for the cold happenings placed on it. That was when Alexander returned. He was a charming tom who had a way with words and had captivated Selena from their first meeting. Even she, though, was not glad to see him. Using his cunning mind, he tried to turn the kits against her. Adrielle, of course, would not be taken but Cedric was glad to have a reason. Together with his father, the took down Selena, leaving her for dead. Alexander's intent was to do the same to his daughter, but his five moon old son must have still felt some sort of affection for Adrielle for he managed to convince him otherwise. The deed done, the two left, leaving the white and green she-cat alone.
It was those events that made Adrielle strong, but also that made her so wary of others. Abandoned, she wandered, occasional straying to the two-leg territories when food was scare. There, she met a captive cat called Conflict who she assisted in escaping, though who she hasn't seen since. Soon after that was when she found the Twilight Colony and decided to make it her home. So there she stays, trying desperately to convince herself it is where she belongs.
But what about Alexander, who will surely kill her if they again cross paths?
Even more so, what about her brother Cedric who still wonders, and perhaps cares, about his lost sister?
Only time will tell what will unfold.
