What's the plot now?
The plot is going to be just as detailed as the previous one, and very similiar, but with new twists.
HOWEVER
[/u], you must understand the history of Konara Forests before you will understand the present. The plot is going to be just as detailed as the previous one, and very similiar, but with new twists.
HOWEVER

Our History:
Back in the days of Thunder, Wind, River, and ShadowClan, there was a horrible twoleg war. The twolegs used harsh chemicals and bombs, completely wracking the lands and wiping out most of the life.
Then, generations later, the first unusually colored cat was born; Timestar. With guidance from StarClan, he helped found some new Clans: Mountain, Tornado, Sunset, and his own, TwilightClan.
Things seemed to be going well until an old sibling rivalry flared up.
StarClan seemingly attacked the Clans, and the last anyone can remember happening was a huge, horrible thunderstorm. So strong was the storm that it flooded the lands, and lightning struck at anything and everything. What happened after that is a mystery, but what we do know is that the Clans vanished.
More generations later, and feral cats have returned to the area. Their societies are more primitive now, but relatively peaceful.
As any resident of Konara Forests knows, though, peace never lasts long.
The Present:
Cats in colonies do not have gatherings or meetings with each other. There are no medicine cats since every cat in a colony helps heal each other, though sometimes a male can enter a colony when he is in need of medical help (although usually his birth colony would have taught him the basics.)
Because of this lack of a spiritual figure, the cats do not believe in their ancestors or anything after death. The few that do remain quiet about it. They no longer call it StarClan, but rather, the Starchildren.
Why? A cult has formed; they call themselves the Moonchildren.
The Moonchildren have begun their own sort of colony, of both males and females, at the one small center where all the territories meet. Following the word of a roaming blind cat who claimed she was a healer, they established their group and even a new way of life for themselves.
They believe that there are two main dieties, the Moonmother, whose eye is the moon and whom created predators, particularly cats, to hunt at night. The other is the Sunfather, whose eye is the sun and whom created prey and daytime. The cult believes that all cats are the children of these dieties, and that each star in the sky is the eye of a Starchild, or a cat that is deceased.
The Moonchildren focus their attentions on Moonmother, whom is said to rule the night and have her greatest power during winter and full moons. They do not believe in burying the dead; instead, they leave the bodies out and away by themselves so the soul can escape and fly home to the night sky. Mainly because of this practice, the Colonies are getting worried.
While the cult preaches peace, love, and simple lives of hunting, meditating, and giving thanks, those who are not a member believe very differently. Strange things have been happening in Konara Forests; the weather is acting up, prey is becoming scarce when it should be plentyful, and random cats are disappearing. Some are later found in the cult, while others are found dead, their bodies forsaken and alone in their resting places.
Ignorance, unfortunately, breeds fear, and war.
The colonies are accusing the cult of brainwashing, and sometimes the killing of their beloved. And when the cult predicts things before they happen (such as famines, storms, or twoleg encounters), the colonies become certain that the cult is actually causing the catastrophes. The Moonchildren fire back with the accusation that because of the colonies' lack of faith, Moonmother has become angered and is punishing them.
Who is right?
Admidst the chaos, there is still one soul who believes in the tall tales that have long been told. There is a story of a time long ago, when the Colonies called themselves Clans and had one healing cat that was their connection with their ancestors. These Clans met every full moon to discuss things and to keep order. And the healers would travel to a sacred place where they could connect with their ancestors.
Could this be the lifestyle they should go back to?
If needed, the colonies could, but there is one essential piece missing: the sacred place where Moonmother can accept offerings and speak to the healers. Unfortunately, where it is and what it looks like is still a mystery.
Right now, though, it is the least of any cat's concerns, for tension is so taut that it will snap any moment. The storms are relentless as winter refuses to step aside for spring, and as the moon rises on a horizon of uncertainty, so will a curse that will shake the forests for generations to come.
