Beloved Konarans, I thank you for being so incredibly patient with me, and for being loyal to the site. I am quite lucky to have such amazing people to share this little bit of the internet with. x3

As you can see, the makings of a new skin are in place, though I plan to make better border images to replace the temporary ones. I plan to make KF better than it ever was- in graphics, in content, in concept, in coding, and in how long it lasts. I've sent out the word and a few have offered to help me administer the place, so that when I am pulled away due to real-life things, the site will carry on. That was the main factor in KF going inactive before.

Now for where things stand in the roleplay world: I'm a bit undecided. Should we continue the way things are now, with the colonies and territories and the cult causing a stir? Or should we try out this other idea that came to my mind?

In the original version of KF, it was right after Timestar had helped found the new clans (MountainClan, TornadoClan, SunsetClan, and TwilightClan). I thought it would be interesting to play out what might have happened in that timespan before - when Timestar was trying to find the other unnatural yet StarClan-touched cats who wanted to begin Clan life... and also when his jealous brother, Shade, was rounding up his own followers that were violently against the unnatural newcomers. I could outline a new, detailed plot, and have auditions for vital characters, and watch the whole story unfold like magic, as it always does in roleplay. Clan roleplays seem to be more familiar to most people and the more sought-after roleplays these days, but again, it's up to you KF. I'll make a poll after this post.

I'm not too keen on the 'before' idea, although I can't think of a good reason why. I think that it might be easier to have a plot unfold smoothly with a more colony/clan-based idea.

I'm rather neutral on clan-based vs. colonies and cult, so I'm not going to vote in the poll just yet.
Also, what exactly is the difference between a colony and a clan? I always thought the colonies were pretty clan-like.

The colonies don't have medicine cats (though that would be changed if the plot continued), and colonies are groups of females only. Males are forced out at around 6 - 8 months old and have to fight for territories nearby.

In that case, I think I would be interested in seeing a kind of transition thing: from colony to clan. Kind of like an evolution.

Mostly, I'm neutral and can go with anything. Not very helpful to your decision making, sorry.

I'd like to add that real cat colonies aren't quite as clannish as they've been made on KF, but you can find that out for yourself on the internet or at the library (if anyone still uses that).

and I'd like to keep colony structure, for the most part, though I'm willing to compromise if others want to make them more Clanlike.
I like the current religious setup more than the idea of StarClan anyway.
