• Physical description (if no picture is available): Kody is a stocky cat, covered in muted stripes and ticking. bright orange eyes gaze out from a bob-cat like face[didn't edit the cat in the picture to have orange eyes]. Being a large breed, heavily muscled cat, it's not surprising if she'd get mistaken for a male, though males of her breed a far larger than she is. Her size easily dwarfs smaller breed cats. Being a house cat for most of her life, her coat is well kept, and she has almost no visible scars. There is one visible scar upon her right back leg, where she managed to snagged on some barbed wire at a young[er] age. Her bob-tail is natural, not docked, as some of the pixie-bobs tails are.

• Personality: Common among the breed, Kody tends to be a rather quiet cat. One may mistake her as a shy feline, but that's far from the truth. Kody loves the company of other creatures, be it cat, human, or even dog. Seeking out company isn't something she often does, however[Reason discussed in history]. She's an extremely tolerable cat and rarely holds grudges. With the exception of beings that threaten the safety of friends. Unless you do something extremely serious, Kody's grudges almost always remain unknown to the holder of the grudge. Violence and confrontation isn't something she seeks out eagerly, so if the situation isn't serious, she'll often keep her mouth shut.
  
  Kody is patient and slow to anger, most of the time. She tries to avoid confrontation at all costs, but will defend herself/a friend if boils down to that. Kody is a kind hearted cat, with the ability to befriend almost anyone; however, trust issues keep her from seeking out friendships. She usually lets other cats come to her, though that doesn't guarantee friendship.
  
  
• History: Born a kittypet, Kody grew up on a small ranch with a family that seemed to care for her. Doting on her as if she were queen of the house. She loved the attention, as well as the humans who kept her. Given free reign of the ranch, Kody spent her days among the horses, exploring the woods, or in the home with her people. Eventually her humans began talking of leaving, moving to something the called a city. Kody, unfortunately, wasn't familiar with these words, considering the ranch had been her home since she was but a kitten. Eventually, the horses started disappearing into the mouths of big metal beasts that ran backwards[horse trailers, unless I didn't make that clear enough. x3]. It wasn't long before all of the horses were gone, and only her people, as well as Kody, remained. The disappearance of the horses and the strange behavior of her people confused Kody, but even that didn't interrupt her daily explorations of the woods.
  It was bound to happen.
  The day came when she returned home and nothing but an empty house greeted her. Her people were gone. All she could do now was wait for them to return, to come back and get her.
  Confusion.
  Where had they gone?
  Distress.
  Were they coming back?
  Anger.
  At herself and her humans.
  she hadn't stuck around to find out why her people were acting strange.
  Her people had abandoned her instead of waiting for her to return...
  Why?
  
  Days passed as Kody simply sat upon the porch waiting, hoping, her people would return. They never did. Of course not, she was just a cat, after all. Right? Kody eventually made her way into the woods near her ranch, knowing she had a slightly better chance of surviving there, where she could hunt her meals, instead of waiting around on a porch where no food would find it's way to her.
  
  ...And she's been there for weeks now, surviving on what little prey she could dig up...

  Mother and father most likely belong to a breeder, Kody doesn't remember much of them.
  Brothers and sister were probably sold to someone interested in pixie-bobs.
  
  
• Other tidbits: Cody has seven toes on both front paws, and six on each back paw. She thinks this is the norm, because what memories she does have of other cats consists of her mother and siblings, who all had extra toes on their paws. Kody has a strange fear of rats and mice. She also loves swimming and playing in water, but only in the summer, of course. Due to her past, she has slight abandonment issues, and has the tendency to befriend and latch onto one particular cat.
