Why ask these questions? Why do you even need to know the answers(If it's because you feel like knowing it, "what caused you to feel that way?")? Why would you join a site just so you ask questions about everything? I noticed that all of your posts were made in this thread. And why would you join a site about a series that you think is "junk"--to criticize everyone about something you don't even like? Why do you seem to care so much about their names, of all things, when you hate the series this site is based on?
If this is so important to you, do you lay in bed and think, "Gee, I really wonder why those people at [insert site name here] name their cat [insert name here]? I just can't sleep without knowing these answers." Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if you do, seeing how much you care.
Do you care this much about people's names, too? Names have meanings. And you have a name in real life, which I'm pretty sure isn't ihavetenfingers or Ten. Why did your parents give you that name? If they used a name dictionary, how did they know what you would be like already--see the future(yeah, right). If they just came up with that name randomly, why did they give you that name? Cause they felt like it? What caused them to feel that way?
Any of this sound familiar? T_T

So, in essence, her prefix means, "I have dead siblings"? - No, it means she's her mother's "Wish come true." per se

Element was the name her mother gave her. The mother wanted a nice name, something to remember. Element isn't your ordinary cat name, which is why she chose it. In the clan, her name (Elementalkit) could also have been chosen because of the markings she had. The markings involve colors from many of the elements. There is the fiery colors for fire, the blue for water, the purple for air. The only one that is missing is earth.
Any more questions?

And, another thing, a spammer came on our Cbox a few days ago telling us the names here were horrible. I have a feeling it is you, ten. Just leave us alone. And, btw, yes, I know a real at with a bent tail. His name is Pepper. Deal.With.It.

You know I've been reading through a lot of this and it makes me laugh. I've seen a lot of Warrior fans like Ten and it just makes me laugh so hard. So many people are freaking out about 'impossible colors' & 'weird names'. First of all Ten, the Warrior series is a FANTASY series! Sorry hun but there are NO talking cats in the wild, there is NO starclan and domestic cats do NOT live in groups. To be honest, lions are the only felines that live in a family unit. Second of all, I've seen people freak out saying, "ZOMG it's impossible for a male to be tortieshell!! ahhhh!", Okay once again, It's a fantasy novel. The names, the colors, it's all fantasy. So what that a site has taken the novels idea one step further? We're having fun. There is nothing wrong with that! Roleplaying is all fantasy, if you really want to take it all so serious then why are you roleplaying at all? Ugh sorry about my rant but I'm just so sick of some of the warrior fans out there who are bashing websites for 'different names & colors' and even bashing the Erins for making tortieshell males and having names like Lionblaze and stuff. It's so annoying! ughhh.

WHY DOES IT EVEN MATTER TO YOU TEN?! Are you against creativity? If you're against creativity than why are you even roleplaying? Not all of the names have to make sense! I think its even more fun when the names don't make sense because then you have to figure it out! For example, one of my cats had the name Lonepaw. She wasn't alone. Actually, she had many siblings. Why was she named Lonepaw? Because as she got older, and NOT directly after birth, and BEFORE she became an apprentice, she usually spent time alone playing by herself. No one knows why, but she did. The end.
And another thing. Don't make the staff of this site waste their time trying to explain the names of other peoples characters that aren't even THEIRS. PM the cats owners if you have a problem with it. It's annoying. And Star*Tiger makes an excellent point. This is a FANTASY ROLEPLAY. I love how i can use my wild imagination and expand my creativity above and beyond. Tis fun! =) I definetly can let my crazy personality shine here. =P not like I cant do the same on other sites, but this sites just more fun to do so on!!! Gotta prob with that? =)

"the Clans, the mutations, the names, etc, they're all fairly different from the norm." Begging your pardon, miss; they are the norm. --------- Notrly. I am yet to see a site with TornadoClan besides ours, as well as one where the cats are as mutated and -colorful- as the ones on here. (and I've advertised on well over 300 sites since KF began to back up my statement.) If there is a site very similiar to ours, it is likely they either copied us or it is an extreme coincidence. (Yes, we have had foolish people try to copy us before. Copyscape for the win.) "Yes we have private messages, why, do you want me to tell you via PM?" Yes. Or maybe you'd rather I keep persisting about it on this thread? ------I just remembered why Timebringer was called what he is. He looks like a time vortex. And don't ask how a cat knows what a time vortex looks like, they don't per se, they just assume it would be circular and colorful. Why? Because I made them think that way, because I felt like it. Overanalyzingplz. "will it matter?" Are you trying to be rhetorical? I'm willing to get into a philosophical discussion with you, if you'd like. ---------You lost me there. "And quite frankly, you seem to act rather cold when the books are mentioned, so I get the feeling that you don't like the books (or don't like some parts of them)." Yes. Haven't I said that? They're junk. -----------Well then I can't help but laugh at someone who takes all this time to go to fansites of a book they hate, only to criticize the names. Even I have more of a life than that. "Can you imagine having millions of people critiquing your hard work and chastising it, and puffing themselves up to crow about how it could be done better?" I try not to let myself daydream to that extent. ---------Perhaps if you did you wouldn't have any more questions. "You act like one" How do you mean? -----------Diehard fans, as I call them, tend to have extremely strict naming rules, and often criticize those who have broader imaginations, as well as very harsh opinions of the books themselves. Sound familiar? Harsh Leafmoon is harsh. But my patience has worn thin a little. If you're not here to have fun then why be here at all? That's what I keep wondering. "Why did you think for an instant that nobody would say that again?" Why are you assuming I thought that? ----------Because that's what most people would think from my experience.

Now where were we?
"Why ask these questions?" -- To get answers.
"Why do you even need" -- I don't.
"Why would you join a site just so you ask questions about everything?" -- To get answers.
"And why would you join a site about a series that you think is "'junk'" -- I like the warrior cats concept.
"Why do you seem to care so much about their names," -- I don't know. How much do I seem to care?
"do you lay in bed and think, 'Gee, I really wonder why those people at [insert site name here] name their cat [insert name here]? I just can't sleep without knowing these answers.'" -- Nah.
"Do you care this much about people's names, too?" -- No.
"Why did your parents give you that name?" -- They know some people by the same name. You're not going to try to draw a parallel, are you?
"What caused them to feel that way?" -- Religious and familial relations.
"Any of this sound familiar?" -- Nah.
"Wish come true." -- I've forgotten by now - her wish was that the kit would live? So the name means, in essence, this cat is not dead?
"Element isn't your ordinary cat name," -- Of course it is.
"The markings involve colors from many of the elements. There is the fiery colors for fire, the blue for water, the purple for air." -- With respective designs, I presume?
"And, another thing, a spammer came on our Cbox a few days ago telling us the names here were horrible." -- Sorry to hear that. What name did this person use?
"I have a feeling it is you, ten." -- Why? Did you trace the IP?
"I know a real at with a bent tail." -- You mean cat? Do you have a picture? Is it a genetic disorder, or is it the result of an injury?
"WHY DOES IT EVEN MATTER TO YOU TEN?" -- I don't know; I can't analyze my own brain.
"Are you against creativity?" -- Nope.
"I think its even more fun when the names don't make sense because then you have to figure it out!" -- If it doesn't make sense, what's to figure out?
"Because as she got older," -- They renamed her? Or did they wait months to name her in the first place?
"No one knows why," -- Do you know why?
"Don't make the staff of this site waste their time trying to explain the names of other peoples characters that aren't even THEIRS." -- Of course. I would like for the creators/namers of the characters to respond to questions involving their own characters.
"Notrly." -- You've seen more names than I have, have you? Go on, elaborate. How did you accrew this experience?
"I am yet to see a site with TornadoClan besides ours, as well as one where the cats are as mutated and -colorful- as the ones on here." -- I'm not talking specific sites, just themes and characters and general. It's a prevelant pattern.
"(and I've advertised on well over 300 sites since KF began to back up my statement.)" -- Throwing up a post or giving it a good look around?
"an extreme coincidence." -- Not all that extreme.
"Yes, we have had foolish people try to copy us before." -- Wait a moment. You dislike for people to restrict you to realism, and yet you belittle people for adhering to your ways?
"He looks like a time vortex." -- Why do these cats even think about that? That is, how does it come up?
"And don't ask how a cat knows what a time vortex looks like, they don't per se, they just assume it would be circular and colorful." -- Based on what?
"Sound familiar?" -- Nah.
"If you're not here to have fun then why be here at all?" -- I'm here to get answers, which I do get some satisfaction out of.
"She complains about names on our TRADITIONAL site!" -- I complain, do I? When? Of what specific names do you speak?

No, the patterns on Elementalkit don't really look like the elements.
If you think mothers name their kits for what they look like, I think your pretty wrong. The queens in the warriors series named their kits not only by looks, but by what they thought about when they saw the kit. Like Hollykit. She doesn't look like a holly, for she is black.

Ten, the reason that we don't have original names is because we want these names to be unique. You don't see people naming there kids Jade because there green and shiny? No, we make these names because we like them and they are unique in there own way. Original names are boring and predictable. They're individual and special characters. Their names mean what they mean for a personal reason.

Dear Ten,
I KNOW you just love to criticize names. We're getting ticked off, honestly. We. Don't. LIKE. IT. =[ Sorry about being mean, but-- Please just be quiet and NOT criticize names anymore. We're beginning to dislike you because of the way you've acted toward weird names, which, by the way, are /cool/. Please, please be nicer, for the sake of sane people on KF.

You've seen more names than I have, have you? Go on, elaborate. How did you accrew this experience? +++++++++++++++When you are a member of big sites, you see many names; one has 1300+ members, another 200+, yet another 100+, and then KF of course (which at one time had over 200. Activity Checks keep the number down). All said sites I've been on for nearly 2 years, each member thinking up about 5 names each.
I'm not talking specific sites, just themes and characters and general. It's a prevelant pattern. ++++++++++++++++Well yes, there are countless wolf and horse roleplays with weird colors, but I've only seen one Warriors roleplay besides ours with the mutations (it has a completely different plot involving prehistoric big cats.) I dunno about the characters, they all seem fairly unique to me, coming from the person who reads all their bios.
Throwing up a post or giving it a good look around? ++++++++++++Both. I'm not a robot, so I tend to be curious about the sites and read into them.
Wait a moment. You dislike for people to restrict you to realism, and yet you belittle people for adhering to your ways? ++++++++++++++++I said copying, not admiring. I meant sites that had copied our Clan names, exact plot, all that (basically copy-and-paste-ers.) Imitation is not the sincerest form of flattery.
Why do these cats even think about that? That is, how does it come up? +++++++++++++++Why would cats think about elements, crosses, jewelry, or anything else for that matter? They think what we want them to think, they are more humanized.
Based on what? ++++++++Based on a cat that one day looked at a rainbow and thought it was the prettiest thing of all time.... I guess. At least, that's what I thought.
